What Does The Energy Council Do?

The Energy Council is a nonprofit trade organization formed in 1998 to promote safe, responsible oil, natural gas, and CO2 development in Archuleta, Dolores, Montezuma, and La Plata Counties.

How much does it cost to become a member?

We have multiple tiers to the energy council. There is annual membership due: Tiers include Large Operator, Small Operator, Midstream, Large Contractor, Small Contractor, and Industry Services. Call today to find out which tier is right for you.

What Are The Member Benefits?

As a member, you can count on the Energy Council to be proactive in supporting and advocating for the industry. We have accurate and up-to-date knowledge and information about the current regulatory agency’s rulemakings and legislative actions that we share regularly with our members. We believe in timely and pertinent information distribution to our members and the community. Policy committees work tirelessly to engage in public awareness, NGO discussions, and legislative action. The Energy Council creates opportunities for networking and professional development among operators and service providers within the San Juan Basin and beyond.
